Our Responsibility

“Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists).
He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood).
Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.
Who has taught (the writing) by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not”
[Qur’an, 96: 1-5]

Where we stand right now?
“Read” was the first word to be revealed from the Qur’an. The verses above demonstrate the importance that Islam dedicates to science and knowledge. We see that now the Muslim Ummah is far away from both kind of knowledge(Science and Islam). Some of Muslims doesn't pay much attention to the worldly knowledge as they think that religious knowledge is all the matters. This thinking is not good and against with Islamic perspective of knowledge.
We must have to understand the relationship between Qur’an and Modern Science in order to improve our output as an Ummah in scientific research, entrepreneurship, industry and intellect. Modern Science theory today find itself more closer to the Qur'an. Science has not been able to improve theories and experiments that fundamentally contradict the Qur'an. However, the Qur'an simply encouraging to all humans to be aware with the natural world. According to the Holy Qur'an:

"And He has subjected to you, as from Him,
all that is in the heavens and on earth: behold,
in that are signs indeed for those who reflect." (45: 13)

So our responsibility is to improve our knowledge, both worldly knowledge and religious knowledge to help our Muslim brothers and sisters of Ummah and all human being.
