I had a meeting for a media job contract a couple days ago...
 and when I politely refrained from shaking a man’s hand, I could immediately tell he was offended and the meeting from that point onwards went extremely downhill.
I kept thinking to myself, had I gone ahead and shook him hand maybe he would have been less agitated and more enthusiastic about my offer, but I also thought about what amount of money was worth displeasing my lord..???
As the Prophet SAW said “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” (al-Tabaraani)
I found out yesterday that I didn’t get the contract, but I also found out that more opportunities had opened up for me in ways I never imagined.... Alhamdulillah, Allah is Most Kind...Allahu akbar..!!!
